Wangbangsan Mountain

Introduction
Wangbangsan, also known as guardian mountain of Pocheon is located at the Western Pocheon. Master Dosan during the third year of King Heongang(872) of Silla dynasty stayed at this mountain and the king visited this mountain by himself and encouraged the master. This is the origin of the name of mountain, Wangbang. "Also, the temple where the Master Dosan stayed is named Wangbangsa temple. Currently, the temple has been reconstructed at the site of temple. The mountain is located at the Norther Cheonbo mountain range which is the vein of Western Gwangju mountain range. Clear water of Wangbangsan has created Hobyeonggol valley.
