Pocheon is in the middle of the Korean Peninsula. The climate seems to be an average between the northern and southern regions. The temperature is also average. On the assumption that Iksan, Pocheon and Pyeongyang are the central region in the southern, central and northern regions, the average temperature of Iksan, Pocheon and Pyeongyang were 13.8℃ (1977), 11.6℃ (1978) and 9℃ (1977), respectively. It can be said that the average temperature of Pocheon, 10.2℃, is the average temperature in Korea.
